Frenchville Sports Club Awards over $9,000 in Junior Performance Program funding

Wednesday 19th April 2023

Frenchville Sports Club has wrapped up round 1 of the 2023 Junior Performance Program, providing over $9,000 in vital funding to 26 recipients. The program was first launched in 2022 and has provided over $20,000 in total funding to junior Frenchville sports players since its inception.

Presented by Thomo's Betta Home Living, the program encompasses the theory of long-term athletic development, including strength and conditioning, nutrition and sports psychology. Through this program, participants have access to essential services and funding to help them reach their potential as athletes.

Damien Massingham, CEO of Frenchville Sports Club, said: “We are thrilled at the number of applications we received and are pleased to say we’ve awarded every one of them. This program is designed to support our young athletes on their journey to success in the sporting world. We are proud that we can provide them with resources and support they need to reach their goals.”

Steve Lill, Frenchville Sports Club Sports Manager added: “We understand how difficult it can be for young athletes to access resources such as coaching and training materials due to financial constraints. That is why we created this program – so that everyone has a chance at success regardless of their circumstances. The Club would also like to recognise Thomo’s Betta Home Living for their support with this program. It’s fantastic to see a local business committed to the development of our young sports players."

"We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Vector Health for joining us in our journey to promote health and fitness in our program. Vector Health has come on board to assist with the nutition and training aspects of the program, ensuring that our members are equipped with the knowledge and resources to achieve their goals."
