Frenchville Sports Club Awards Over $3000 In Round 2 Of 2025 Junior Performance Program
Thursday 26th June 2025
Frenchville Sports Club is proud to announce the completion of Round 2 of its 2025 Junior Performance Program, providing over $3,000 in funding to 17 talented young athletes from across Central Queensland.
Since launching in 2022, the program has awarded over $44,000 in support to help local juniors take their sporting ambitions to the next level.
Proudly supported by Thomo’s Betta Home Living and Dr Bradley Richmond, the Junior Performance Program was created to support the long-term development of local athletes. In addition to financial assistance for representative sport, the program provides valuable services including strength and conditioning training, nutrition advice, and access to sports psychology support.
Frenchville Sports Club Chairman, Graeme Brady OAM, said the Club was excited to see the program continuing to grow and make a difference.
“We’re incredibly proud to get behind these talented young athletes and help ease the financial pressure that often comes with representative sport,” Mr Brady said.
“A big thank you to Thomo’s Betta Home Living for their continued support since day one, and to Dr Bradley Richmond for coming on board this year. It’s fantastic to see local businesses supporting local kids.”
Meegan Armstrong, Business & Sports Development Manager at Frenchville Sports Club, said the program plays an important role in breaking down barriers for young athletes and their families.
“Representative sport can be expensive and stressful for families, so this program is about giving kids the chance to chase their goals and represent their community with pride,” Meegan said.
Congratulations to the 17 recipients selected for Round 2 of the 2025 Junior Performance Program: Addison Goldston, Parker Clifton, Zander Peart, Zafeera Gibson, Ram Christian Lacap, Owen Basham, Lachlan Basham, Ruby Rowland, Isabelle Smyth, Norah Exton, Isabelle Palmer, Ari Leggat, Seth Rayner, Millie Weisse, Fidelbert Jassim Salvador, Halle McLaughlin, and Jessie Sadler.
