Frenchville Sports Club Announces Successful Applicants For The 2024 Community Partnership Program

Frenchville Sports Club is pleased to announce the successful applicants for the 2024 Community Partnership Program, which invited all Central Queensland community groups, schools, events, initiatives, and sports clubs to apply for vital financial support. This initiative underscores Frenchville Sports Club's unwavering commitment to giving back to the community that has supported it for generations.

The Community Partnership Program stands as a cornerstone of Frenchville Sports Club's mission to make a substantial impact in Central Queensland. Through this program, the Club aims to provide crucial financial assistance to deserving causes in the region. Contributions from the program included support for a wide range of beneficiaries, such as Central Queensland Animal Society Inc, Every Child CQ, Cancer Council QLD, Hands of Compassion, and Vinnies Support Centre, among many others.

Mr. Graeme Brady OAM, Chairman of Frenchville Sports Club, said he was very proud of the Club's enduring commitment to the CQ community, stating, "The Club has a long and proud history of community support, contributing over $1 million annually to the community. Even as we embark on our most significant transformation to date, we remain steadfast in our dedication to supporting our community in every possible way."

In total, Frenchville Sports Club has committed through this program just over $150,000 worth of funding to support community-focused projects, events, and initiatives that contribute positively to the Central Queensland region.

"We are delighted to announce the selection of successful applicants for the 2024 Community Partnership Program," Mr. Brady continued. "Out of the 62 applications received, 42 were successful. This demonstrates the high level of dedication and quality of projects within our community."

Frenchville Sports Club is proud to collaborate with corporate business partners such as Betta Home Living, Intersport, and Menzies, enabling the club to fulfill more requests and enhance community impact.
