David Barber Australia Day Honours

In January 2020 David was honoured with the Rockhampton Regional Council Sports Person of the Year Award at the Australia Day Celebrations. David was honoured with this award after Captaining the Australian Pararoo Football team the Pararoos. At the end of 2019 David played his 100th cap for the Pararoos on home soil the first time in 20 years. David is also a valued member of the Frenchville Roos Football Club and has been part of the Club for many years.

Frenchville Scorpions Softballers Win Silver

Congratulations to Matthew Harrison, Tahlia Parish, Chad Charlesworth and Hamish Nolan-Munns for winning Silver in the 12 years and under school girls and boys National Titles in January.

Frenchville Rockwheelers Runners Up at Suncoast Spinners

Not even the weather could stop the Frenchville Rockwheelers Wheelchair Basketball Team from competing at Suncoast Spinners in January 2020.

With the A Grade Frenchville Green and Black Teams playing off against each other throughout the Tournament and the Black Team going down in the Grand Final nail biter.

Frenchville Rovers Hockey Player Georgia Wright heads to the Nationals

Good luck to Georgia Wright and her Qld Fire teammates as well as her coach Cathy Irwin as they begin their campaign at the National Indoor Hockey U13 Championships in Wollongong today.

This is Georgia's first Qld team - enjoy every moment.
