Frenchy Roos bring home the Trophy

The last weekend of February 2020 brought the Annual Frenchville Roos 6-A-Side Carnival to Ryan Park. With 23 registered for both the Men's and Women's Competitions it is a great way to kick off the 2020 Football Season. Frenchville Roos Green brought home the trophy in the A Grade Men's Competition after a gruelling battle with Nerimbera and a spectacular extra time penalty shot from Harry Dean making the final score 2-1 at the end of extra time. Congratulations to all that participated.

Action a plenty at the Fast N Furious 5's Hockey Competition

Frenchville Rovers Hockey Men and Women competed in the pre-season Fast N Furious 5's on Saturday 29 February 2020. The Frenchville Rovers Women's team were undefeated for the whole day and topped it off with a thrilling 5-4 win in the grand final. The Frenchville Rovers Men's played some great hockey to place 3rd overall.

More achievements from Isabelle...

Isabelle Shearer from the Frenchville Netball Club was named in the final 12 Netball Squad for the Under 17 Qld Team to compete at the National Netball Championships in Hobart. Isabelle has been travelling to Brisbane every weekend and this shows the commitment you have to Netball. In addition to this prestigious honour Isabelle was also name the Frenchville Sports Club 2020 Senior Sports Person of the Year at the Annual Awards Night held in February.

More Women needed for the Frenchville Roos Seniors Team

The Frenchville Seniors Women's Team is seeking more players. If you love football. and can commit to two nights training and playing on a Friday Night they want to hear from you.

Softballers chosen for School Representation Honours

Congratulations to the following members who were selected in the Capricornia 13-19 years girls and boys teams - Brooke Ryan, Nick Crouch, Blake Gillett & Jed Napper.

Also congratulations to Matthew Harrison who is the girls Coach. All the best in the upcoming Queensland School Sport 13-19 years Softball Championships to be held in Redcliffe from the 26-29th March.
