NAME
Frenchville Indoor Bowls Club
HISTORY
The Indoor Bowls Club has been in existence for many years and have been playing in the small room adjacent to the Restaurant for many of these years.
Secretary Doreen Robson has been playing for 54 years a big portion of this has been for Frenchville. At the time of Doreen joining the Indoor Bowls Club there was a very large membership.
- Monday Night Play – Ladies & Gentlemen
- Tuesday Morning Play – Strictly Ladies Only
Club Members of which there was many, enjoy trips away to Monto, Mackay – Southern Beach Resorts, Gladstone & Goomeri – mostly for bowls, some for pleasure.
Sadly – with age – numbers have diminished. We are always looking for new members – men and women are all accepted.
REGISTRATION
To join the Indoor Bowls Club you must firstly be a member of Frenchville Sports Club. Membership starts at just $2.50 for Concession Card Holders.
Members are required to pay a registration fee and insurance fee (February of each year this is due) of which the Indoor Bowls Club pays a part thereof.
In 2015 Registration was $10.00 for Participants with an extra $5.00 paid by the Indoor Bowls Club.
